I was where you were back in 2000. Post Abortion Stress Syndrome (PASS) is awful...Even worse, the enemy's assaults on our hearts & minds is horrendous...but there IS hope.. ;-) Here are some resources to help in this: http://www.ramahinternational.org/ Post Abortion Stress Syndrome (PASS) http://www.ramahinternational.org/post-abortion-syndrome.html The Catholic Church holds Rachel's Vineyard Post Abortion retreats for men & women suffering from post-abortion trauma. They do hold interdenominational retreats (Check for locations & times). They are for a fee, but if there is difficulty w/ funds, I think they can help in that as well: By Location http://www.rachelsvineyard.org/weekend/retreats-by-location-usa.htm By Date http://www.rachelsvineyard.org/weekend/sites-by-date.aspx Counseling is also available. Many pregnancy resource centers offer post-abortive support groups (Forgiven & Set Free comes to mind), & many churches are also filling the need for post-abortive people in need of help. Check w/ your local churches/pastors/priests. A good counselor can help in the healing process. It is imperative to find one who will not discount your abortion experience. Ultimately in the end, it is God who brings healing in our lives from this trauma. May Jehovah-Rapha (God My Healer) bring healing to you over this pain. He can do it. He did for me. God be with you, hun...You are not alone, hun... LO Psalm 30 A psalm. A song. For the dedication of the temple.[a] Of David. 1 I will exalt you, O LORD, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me. 2 O LORD my God, I called to you for help and you healed me. Psalm 32 Of David. A maskil.[a] 1 Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. 2 Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit. 3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. 4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Selah 5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD”— and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah 6 Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you while you may be found; surely when the mighty waters rise, they will not reach him. 7 You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah 8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. 9 Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you. 10 Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD’s unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him. 11 Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!
