Morning,
Today begins the 40 Days for Life. Ash Wednesday until Palm Sunday. 40 days of prayer and fasting. 40 days of peaceful virgils 40 days of community outreach.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to you with open hearts seeking to find your love. We meet here in cyber space to comfort each other, then we are not alone. We thank you for the site and the loving hearts of those that keep it working for us. I thank you, Father for each person you have brought to the site of acceptance for our sin. You forgive us and guide us everyday of our life. I ask in our Wonderful Counselor's name to send my prayer to a non-believer that you will touch them in their heart over the next 40 days. Lord, I have always liked this time of the year because it renews my faith in you. I ask that if anyone would like to pray during this 40 days of life, please add to the thread. I will add each day to the thread with another prayer. In Jesus name.
Amen |

Almighty God, Jesus is a man of sorrows and aquainted with grief, he knows how deep this grief is that follows an abortion. My grief is stll there it is not overwhelming today as the first few years that I suffered. Please touch the ones in great sorrow and help them to find peace that they need. You are our peace, our light, our friend and our Father help others to see the merciful God that you are. Thank you for the small one thing in my life that made me giggle the other day it shows me that you are at work in your time and not my time. Your ways are always better than mine and you already have a plan for me please guide me. In Jesus name. Amen |

Our Wonderful Counselor, I punished my self for years and found these verses to be some help. 1 I cry aloud to the LORD; I lift up my voice to the LORD for mercy. 2 I pour out my complaint before him; before him I tell my trouble. 3 When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who know my way. In the path where I walk men have hidden a snare for me. 4 Look to my right and see; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life. 5 I cry to you, O LORD; I say, "You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living." 6 Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need; rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me. 7 Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about me because of your goodness to me. Psalm 142:1-7 Thank you Lord for your word. |

Everlasting Father, I brought to you my shame for you to heal me and you did. I ran from you when I should have run to you. You took my shame and put desire in place of it. I desired to learn more about you and your love. I bind the shame from everyone that has had an abortion and I loose the desire that you have for them. Thank you for Liberty Savard's book on Shattering your Strongholds. It helped my shatter many negative emotions of my abortion. The desire to learn more about your word filled my bookshelf. Lord, you know are hearts and those who suffer in silence. I bind the silence and loose the ability to seek you. Thank you for Matthew 16:19 and 18:18 that teaches us about how to bind and loose. In Jesus name. Amen |

God of my life, Thank you Lord for the people in my life that have helped me to know you better.Your word has helped my discover that I have a purpose in life, bless Rick Warren today. I really enjoyed learn about the different translations of the bible. I have learn to manage my emotions with the help that Joyce Meyer gives to me. I have learn about Bounaries thanks to Dr. Henry Cloud and with Dr. John Townsend. You must have known how it would change my life. I got out of the pit with Beth Moore's book. I enjoy Mary K. Baxter's books on Divine Revelations. Derek Prince has brought many books to fulfill my needs. I have found Basil Frasure, Ph.D. on the web and I love the way that he does different subjects that related to the verses of your word. The list could go on and on. Thank you for encouraging me to find more authors that helped me to heal from the worst day of my life. Help those who are struggle today with thinking about abortion as a way out. It has been everything but easy since. Thank you for all the ones that speak out about the destruction that it cause so many. A quote by Dwight L. Moody, " A little fatih will bring your soul to heaven, but a lot of faith will bring heaven to your soul." Form the book of 12,000 Religious Quotations by Frank Mead on page 135. Thank you so much. Amen |

God of Hope, I have found hope in my life again. I have hope every day that the bill on Capitol Hill will be passed. Post Abortion Depression Research and Care Act has been sitting for years. Many Senators have helped get it to a vote, I hope many more will sign it to help get passed. When it passes I will rejoice. Amen |

My Invisible God, Thank you Lord for this interesting phrase; Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible. It is parallel to Hebrews 11:1, Now Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. |

Our God of Knowledge, Thank you Lord for the journey each time I read a book. I go places and not have to leave my favorite chair. Life's Healing Choices, by John Baker, he is a Pastor and founder of the Celebrate Recovery program at Saddleback Church. The book is based on the principles of the " Beatitudes" of Matthew 5. Happiness choices for recovery from hurts, hang-ups, and habits. The introduction has this verse; 'I have seen how they acted, but I will heal them, I will lead them and help them, and I will comfort those who mourn. I offer peace to all both far and near! I will heal my people. Isaiah 58:18-19 (TEV)" These are the promises that you give us. Thank for leading me to his book and the Saddleback Church that I didn't have to leave home. In each chapter the choices he includes the section on; pray about it, write about it, and share about it. I grew with his work, Lord bless him today and every day for the insight that he shares with us about your word. Thank you Lord for Save Haven, I believe that is what we do here the insight and healing. We pray about it, we write about it, and we share the heart ache and recovery from abortion. Amen |

My Redeemer, Morning, Lord one of my silent prayers were answered yesterday, thank you. I was reading Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend, on page 251. They talk about the forgiveness of our sins and reconciliation. I had to read it twice. "We always need to forgive and we don't always have to achieve reconciliation.". I have forgiven everyone in the decision to abort my child, however I have not reconciled with them. "Forgiveness takes one; and to reconciliation takes two." Webster's dictionary defines reconcile, "to bring together again in love or friendship." Pehaps I have not reconciled with you, Lord, I know you have forgiven me and I have forgave others. You do not remember my sin anymore and do not hold it against me. I have tried to live a righteous life since. I was reading about "The Believer's Identity in Christ" by Don Rogers on the web. The my calling section I found "I am a minister of reconciliation- 2 Corinthains 5:18-19 In 2 Corinthians 5:11-21 I read about, " The Ministry of Reconciliation" The Ministry of Reconciliation 11 Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade men. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience. 12 We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you can answer those who take pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart. 13 If we are out of our mind, it is for the sake of God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. 14 For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. 16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. NIV Lord, I hope you that have accepted my reconciliation with you, and I pray that other will reooncile with you also. Amen |

My Beloved Word, I love words, the more the better. When the paths cross with the same word that appears in different places. The word for today, Serendipty- the gift of being able to make delightful discoveries by pure accident. Thanks, Lord for the laugh today on one word discovery. |

Our Bright and Morning Star, Lord you shine on us so the darkness doesn't have a chance. I have turned my scars into stars. I have had to find enjoyment in this dark world, and the darkest scar was left behind by my abortion. I have always tired to find the good in people. Sometimes it is very difficult when you can see the hate in them. The hardest is the people that lie, a fire inside me grows really quick. Sometimes if even see the horns growing form their lies. Lord help me to keep my anger in check. I await your guideness every morning. Amen |
