I know this sounds unbelevable, but it is true. I am a 47 year old father who has a 17 year old son. Unfortunately his girlfriend became pregnant. We offered to pay all the medical expenses and pay all the support for this child. We took the girl to the Susquehanna pregnancy center for spiritual and anti-abortion counceling. She wanted to have the child. Her mother took her out of state (PA) to MD and intimidated her into having an abortion. Her mother then sued me in civil court saying that my son had agreed to pay for the abortion although he too encouraged the girl to give birth. A district Justice sided with her and ordered me (the minors father) to reimburse her for abortion expenses. The paternity was never established but I can't beleive that I am being ordered to pay for someone else to murder a child. This has been our worst nightmare. In addition to all this, the mother has harassed us and our son with violent threats unless we pay her. If you disagree with this judges (I use the term loosely) decision, please contact him at:

Have you by any chance taken this up with the American Center for Law & Justic, a Christian legal group led by Jay Sekulow for these kinds of issues?  Perhaps they might be able to help you...

www.aclj.org

Their Mission Statement:

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) and its globally affiliated organizations are committed to ensuring the ongoing viability of freedom and liberty in the United States and around the world.

By focusing on U.S. constitutional law, European Union law and human rights law, the ACLJ and its affiliated organizations are dedicated to the concept that freedom and liberty are universal, God-given and inalienable rights that must be protected.

The ACLJ and its worldwide affiliates engage in litigation, provide legal services, render advice to individuals and governmental agencies, as well as counsel clients on global freedom and liberty issues.  The ACLJ and its affiliated organizations also support training law students from around the world in order to protect religious liberty and safeguard human rights and dignity.

As a non-profit organization, the ACLJ does not charge for its services and is dependent upon God and the resources He provides through the time, talent, and gifts of people who share our concerns and desire to protect our religious and constitutional freedoms.

They said they concentrated only on Constitutional Law. I really appreciate your concern. Someone will help. I have contacted several other sources. I am not looking for free representation, just someone who shares my beliefs and values life like I do. I really want someone professional because I consider it a landmark decision when a grandfather is forced to fund his grandchilds murder. How sorry is that. I have faith. This decision will not stand!

That sound awful. Have you contacted Christian Law Association? David Gibbs III spoke at our church last year and I know he would be able to help. I know his heart is after the Lord and he is very well studied in the law. Check out their site at www.christianlaw.org

I will keep you in prayer. That God would give you the strength to go head long into this battle. That He will give you peace and grace to sustain you and your family in this very trying time.

Blessings

I have absolutely no faith in our legal system, there is no justice about it. Sorry to read what has happened to you and your son.
