i am 45, married with 3 children under age of 7.  I'm pregnant for 6 weeks. My husband and i've decided to let go this baby.  i have some blood clot disorders and all my children were induced.  my last pregnancy stressed me out and I was on the verge of postpartum depression after my third child was born.  given lot of personal and family concerns, we just think we can't have this baby. The appointment for pill abortion is scheduled for next Friday.  i feel so much fear and guilt. Please pray for me.

Welcome to Safe Haven. I had an abortion at age 16. Recently I have found that my thyroid problem may have been caused by my abortion. I found in the hormone book the Endocrinologist gave me about a year ago that my depression could have been a chemical imbalance for years and was not treated until 1992, 31 years after they abortion. The progrestrone drop in levels after my abortion could have been the factor that casued the bipolar disroder. They call it post-partum depression. There also is a post-partum thyroid problems you may want to check out the symptoms and see if they apply to you. A lot of the thyroid imbalances will cause depression. Your body might have a chemical reaction on the abortion pill. Please do some research, the Priests for Life has pictures of what the chemical does.
