i am 24 years old and single mum to 3 children under the age of 5. i am 16 weeks pregnant and am having an abortion in 2 weeks. i know it may seem like a late stage to be having an abortion but it has taken me a long time to reach this final decision. so many people were forcing onto me that i should keep this baby, even tho i have 3 young children already, and would find it even harder to cope with 4. i am trying not to upset myself by thinking about the decision i have made, but its difficult. i wonder if anybody else has been in this situation.....

Welcome to Safe Haven. I had an abortion at age 16 in 1978. I would never tell anybody that it is the right thing to do. I rasied three children as a single mother. When my kids started haveing kids I found Safe Haven. The turmoil was bringing me into an unhappy place. I have six grandbabies and I will tell them about my abortion when the get into the teen age years. You want the best for your kids, and there is plently of help out there. I would be looking for her if I had given her away. Since I terminated her life I know won 't see her until I am in heaven. I look forward to the day to see how wonderful she has become with our heavenly father raising her.
