i was wondering if having an abortion or misscarage can scar or damage your insides?

I don't kow much, but I do know in some rare cases, woman have develop P.I.D as a result of an abortion. There is also the fact of post abortion stress syndrome!!! I would suggest you read up on that before you make any drastic decision! It is very real, and I know many women who suffer from it including myself. I hope that you find the information you need, and that you make an informed decision!(don't want to pressure you into having it or not, but know that there is no turning back!) having the AB was the worst thing I have ever done, and I would do anything to get it back! I have been walking along since, and I just don't know where to turn to anymore!

Hi I have been doing some research (mostly from websites dealing with post-abortive women) and from what I read on those sites, it does sound like you can get scarring from an abortion. There are many stories out there where women talk about how the Dr (or sometimes an unqualified person doing the abortion) is not only rough with them but uncaring and these women needed to go to the hospital afterwards for uterus tears, bladder tears, etc so it makes sense that scarring is a possibility. Besides that miscarriage is often a side effect of an abortion. I don't know if that is because of scarring or what but it does seem to be a definite result of abortion.
